Chi siamo
An ancient Estate, dating back to the 16th century, protected by two rivers and looked after by an ancient woodland, Community site for biodiversity preservation and part of the European network Natura 2000. 106 hectares of vineyards, 15 of which historic, partially dating back to the end of the 19th century, which have been meticulously restored respecting nature and favouring native varieties; 12 hectares of woodland, including the ancient forest, a biodiversity oasis; 4 historic buildings dating back to the 16th century and 2 certified archaeological sites, which will be uncovered; about 30,000 bottles produced per year, from a careful selection of vineyard plots. A soil rich in clay (up to 53%) and limestone in the deepest layer, which gives a characteristic minerality to the wines. Varietal vinification, respectful of the origins: that is why we mainly use concrete tanks and skillful aging in oak barrels. Organic certification since 1993, low yields in the vineyard and independence of the entire supply chain: every bunch of grapes and every bottle come from our Estate and are managed at every stage by our agronomist and oenologist, in order to achieve exactly the product we want. The most interesting markets for us at the moment are: USA, Canada, Sweden, Norway, Holland, Japan, Singapore.
